On Monday, May 11, 2020, singer Brian Adams, decided to post some slightly racist remarks on social media. Due to COVID-19, quarantines and “stay at home” orders have been instituted to stave off the virus.
On May 12, 2020, the CDC announced they will officially be updating doctors on the latest symptoms for COVID-19 in children. The New York State Department of Health has been investigating roughly 100 cases of possible COVID-19 involving youth. Governor Andrew Cuomo stated that three youth died from a mysterious ailment.
Academy award-winning actor Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, tested positive for COVID-19 in March and now both coronavirus-free. The actor says although he did not have symptoms as bad as his wife, he felt "wiped out" while in isolation at a hospital in Queensland, Australia as he struggled with the Coronavirus.
The coronavirus survival is higher than the death rate. But for those who fall into the high-risk categories, it seems their battles against the virus are destined to be lost. However, this is not the case for at least three centenarians.
